Booking & Cancellation Policy

Soaring Eagle Lodge is pleased to review its booking and cancellation policy.  Should you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact our staff and we will be pleased to clarify any issues.

Booking Policy

  1. Our rates are based on a per angler cost.
  2. Reservations are only confirmed with a minimum deposit of 40% or $150.00 deposit, which ever is greater.
  3. All invoice estimates must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival date.
  4. Group reservations; Soaring Eagle Lodge prefers individual invoices for each guest in the group unless otherwise instructed by the client coordinating the reservation.  It should be noted that if the coordinating client requests a single invoice for the entire party then he/her will be responsible for the entire amount of said invoice including any and all cancellations on the total number of attendees of the group.
  5. To hold your reservation a deposit must be paid within 10 days of the initial booking request
  6. All non guests services contracted, (guide service and/or meal service only) must be paid in full at time of booking.
  7. Payment may be tendered by check, Visa or MasterCard.  (Checks should be made out to Soaring Eagle Lodge, LLC and have a valid credit card number and expiration date included)
  8. Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 10:00 a.m.
  9. Late check out, if available, will have a $50.00 fee applied.
  10. Soaring Eagle Lodge is a no smoking facility.  (Cigars and cigarettes may be smoked outside in the designated areas)
  11. Unfortunately Soaring Eagle Lodge does not allow pets of any kind on the property.
  12. Water front cabins are held for those purchasing a complete package, i.e. Lodging, Meals and Guided fishing trip(s).  These cabins may be released as needed per management discretion.
  13. Due to insurance reasons, no open fires, BBQs, gas or charcoal can be lit on Soaring Eagle property.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Clients rendering a deposit agree and are bound by this cancellation policy.
  2. As a small independently owned lodge, cancellations affect us dearly.  Cancellation for lodging or guided fishing will be accepted no less than 60 days prior to arrival with a $50.00 cancellation fee charge.  A refund on a cancellation will be paid, with notification made prior to 60 days of arrival.  Cancellations made 60 days or less, prior to arrival will be subject to payment in full.  (No cancellation via fax or e-mail, telephone only)
  3. Reducing the number of days per stay is considered the same as a cancellation and you are subject to the same policy as stated above.
  4. Lodging or Guide Trips can not be cancelled due to Weather.  Only guide trips will be canceled due to a lightning storm while on the river.  This will be your guides decision, if you fish 4 hours or less you will only be charged for a half day rate, if you fish over 4 hours a full day rate will be charged. 
  5. Deposits for trips cancelled outside of 60 days, can be held for another date, within one (1) year of the original date of the deposit.

Trip Insurance: If you have a large group or venue planned at considerable expense, we highly recommend you obtain some type of Booking/Cancellation Insurance.  Unfortunately, events do happen beyond all of our control, such as transportation or weather issues, illness, or even the loss of a loved one.  These events are still considered cancellations and full payment is required.  If you would like to purchase this directly, you may do so on-line at the web site of Sportsman's Travel Insurance, www.sportsmanstravelinsurance.com or you may contact your local agent to arrange the coverage.
