San Juan River flows through the Jacquez Ranch just
downstream from the Quality Waters. The Lodge is located
on the ranch and provides private access to the river.

River
Flow
The San Juan River's flow varies seasonally and as a
result of measured releases from Navajo Dam. Click the

Weather
This
is high, dry, desert country. Precipitation averages
8'' annually. On the warmest days of summer the nights
are pleasant. After the coldest winter nights the days
are sunny. Be ready for year-round sun and an occasional

The
Quality Waters
The
world-famous Quality Waters of the San Juan River extend
3.75 miles from the base of Navajo Dam. In addition
to the private river access at the ranch, Soaring Eagle
Lodge provides guide
services (float or wade) for these highly productive
public waters.
